Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana or Guru Raghavendra Aradhanotsavam is the major festival across Madhwa Community and many other temples dedicated to Shri Guru Raghavendra Swamy. According to Uttaradhi Matt The 339th annual celebrations of Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsavam begins on 25th August and ends on 27th August 2010.

When will be the Aradhana

On Every Year Sraavna Maasa, Bahula , Pratipath, Dwithiya, Tritiya we will celebrate Aradhana Mahotsava,which  is celebrated as Purva Aradhana, Madhya Aradhana, Uttara Aradhana.

This Year in 2010, the celebrations are on the dates as follows August 25th ( Purva Aradhana ), August 26th ( Madhya Aradhana), August 27th ( Uttara Aradhana)

Across the world in all Rayaru Sannidhana’s These celebration will takes place very Grandly by Rayara disciples with huge Bhakthi & Sraddha. People say that two eyes are really not enough to watch the celebrations especially in Mantralayam (Place where Raghavendra Swamy Brundava is present). People from all over india will come to Mantralayam to attend this celebrations in Mantralayam.

Like Mantralayam, in Kadapa Town (Andhra pradesh state) also the celebrations will takes place very very grandly. The Dharma Karta of Kadapa Town Sri Raghavendra Swamy Sannidhi is Pundit Sri Ranga Vittal Rao, A Scholar of Sudha.

On Purva Aradhana Day( 25- Aug -2010), The Celebrations do start at 5:00 AM with Prabhatha Seva, at 7:00 AM Grama Pradakshina, at 8:30 AM The Abhisheka will starts after that Pada pooja Follows. At 11 : 00 AM Satya Narayana Pooja. At 1:00 PM Prasada Distribution will start. From Evening 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM Desciples will conduct Bhajanas as well as Upanyasa by few of the greatest Scholors like Pundit Sri Khede Krishacharya, Pundit Sri Veda Vyasaacharya, Pundit Sri P. Jaya Theerthaacharya. At 10:00PM Pallaki Seve will be offered to Raghavendra Swamy.

On Madhya Aradhana Day ( 26- Aug-2010) The Celebrations start with Prabhatha seva at 5:00 Am, This day The Brundavana is decorated with Three faces which represents Three avataras of Rayaru, 1. Prahlada 2.Vyasarajaru 3. Rayaru. This day at 6:00 AM for the peoples Dosha Nivarana The Committee organizes Dhanvanthari Homa, Pavamana Homa, Nava Graha Homas. At 10:30 AM The Panchamrutha Abhishekam will be organized with loads and loads of varieties of Fruits, after completing Abhishekam Pada Pooja Follows. One of the reason The Kadapa Town is Meant for its Madhya Aradhana Abhishekam and Homas. Not only Madhwas but also Desciples from other communities also attend this Auspicious Moments. At 12:30 PM The Sahasra Namarchana and Bhajanas by Bhajana Mandali makes the life float with the Keerthanas of Narayana, Krishna, Madhwa Charya, Raghavendra Gurugalu.

At 1:30PM Theertha Prasada, Annadana will be conducted. The Celebrations in Kadapa Town are meant for its Delicious Bhojana prepared by The Two Very Famous Madhwa Caterors in Kadapa Adigi Gopi and Adigi Srinivas.

By 7:00 PM in the Evening The Upanyasa from greatest Scholars continues followed by few singing competition, quiz and other few. The Scholars who give Upanyasa on this day are Pundit Sri Jalihaal Kesavacharya, Pundit Sri Khede Krishnacharya, Pundit Sri Khede Vedavyasacharya, Pundit Sri C.Padmanabhacharya, Pundit Sri Varadacharya. At 10:30 PM Pallaki Seva with maha Mangala Harathi.

On 27-Aug-2010( Uttara Aradhana) Day, at 5:00 Am Prabhathotsavam, This day at 6:00 AM Samoohika Munji programme will start, The people who want to get their Munji done can register them self with a very Nominal Registration Fee. At 9:00 AM Abhishekam will start follwed by paada Puja, At 10:30 AM The Rathotsavam Starts, people will say that the Rathotsava Auspicious moments are most memorable moments in their lives. At 12:00 PM Bhajana will be conducted by Mahila Mandali. At 1:30 PM the Sahasra Namaarchana will start as per the schedule, At 2:00 PM Theertha Prasada Distribution will start. Evening at 7:00 PM Venu Gaana Kacheri by Sri Prapancham Seetharam & Batch. At 9:30 PM The Raghavendra Swamy Meravani will start followed by Phala Mantrakshathi to all the Volunteers who took active part in the celebrations.
